Former Torino, Manchester United, Manchester City and Scotland striker Denis Law has died at the age of 84.
The centre-forward was born in Aberdeen and was just over a month off marking his 85th birthday.
Although there was only one season spent in Serie A in the 1961-62 campaign, Law made a big impact, scoring 10 goals in 27 top flight appearances for Torino.
There was also one game in the Coppa Italia for the Granata.
Law set primato for Scottish strikers in Serie A
Torino currently have another Scottish player in their ranks, as Che Adams is their top scorer so far this season.
The 10 goals scored by Law had remained the primato for a Scottish player in Serie A, until it was broken by Lewis Ferguson at Bologna in 2023.
There are now several Scotland internationals in Italian football, as Ferguson remains at Bologna, along with Adams at Torino, Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour who both joined Napoli this season.
