The Italy international was making his return to the starting XI after injury and made an immediate impact, as he opened the scoring just 16 minutes into the big match.

He gathered with his back to goal from Ederson and turned to hammer his left-foot finish into the near top corner past Alex Meret.

This takes him up to 14 goals in 19 Serie A appearances so far this season, along with two in the Champions.
