There is still a considerable difference in Manchester United and Napoli’s valuations of Argentine talent Alejandro Garnacho following the latest meeting between the two clubs this week, as United insist they will not sell the winger for less than €65m.
Napoli have been targeting a move for the 20-year-old United forward as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in a €70m move over the fine settimana.
Reports in Italy claim that there is already an agreement in place between Napoli and the player, but the Partenopei still need to entice United with an appropriate offer.
Napoli and Man United still over €10m apart on Garnacho valuations
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli’s offer still stands in the region of €50m-€55m with bonuses included, but United are still holding out for a fee of €65m plus bonuses following a meeting between the two clubs on Tuesday.
United have already lowered their valuation down to €65m from the €75m mark, according to reports over the fine settimana.
Tuesday’s meeting was the second time that representatives from the two clubs have sat down for formal talks regarding Garnacho.
An agreement has not yet been reached, and for now, United’s representatives are due to return to the UK from Milan, but talks are expected to continue over the coming weeks.
