Lecce are reportedly considering turning down Manchester United’s bid for Patrick Dorgu again, as details of the Premier League side’s second offer have been revealed.
Manchester United have now submitted two formal proposals to sign Dorgu from Lecce in the January transfer window. Earlier this week, the Serie A side turned down an offer of €27m, as they were holding out for a fee in the region of €35m-€40m to let him go this month.
Lecce considering rejecting Man United’s second Dorgu bid

Reports on Friday confirmed that United have submitted a second offer to sign the recent Denmark international. According to reports from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, that offer stands at €34m, which Lecce are inclined to reject again.
Lecce are now adamant that a fee in the region of €38m-€40m is still reasonable for the versatile 20-year-old.
There has also been reported interest from Napoli in the Lecce wideman, who has covered at left-back, wing-back and on the right wing, but the Partenopei have been considering a move in the summer transfer window rather than in January.
If Dorgu is to be sold this month, he will become Lecce’s most expensive sale ever, as a deal is expected to massively surpass the €21m that the club earned from the sale of Morten Hjulmand to Sporting CP in the summer of 2023.
