Four Inter players have contracts that expire at the end of the 2024-25 season, but another three in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian could theoretically leave the club in the summer as well because of a break clause in their contracts.ย
Inter are expected to part easy with Joaquin Correa, Marko Arnautovic and reserve goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro in the summer. Stefan De Vrijโs deal is up as well, but his contract includes an automatic option to extend by a further 12 months, which could be activated before the end of the current campaign.ย
Why Inter could part company with Mkhitaryan, Acerbi and Darmian

Mkhitaryan, Acerbi and Darmian are among the players whose contracts expire in the summer of 2026, but according to updates from Calciomercato.com, all three have a clause in their deals which allows Inter to end their agreement 12 months early.ย
The three players would be appropriately compensated, financially, if Inter decided to end their agreements ahead of schedule.ย
There is not currently any indication that Inter are looking to terminate deals for any player, but Calciomercato reports that the club will decide either way ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in North America in June and July.
