Conference League line-ups: Panathinaikos vs. Fiorentina

Moise Kean returns to the Fiorentina starting XI with Lucas Beltran for this difficult Conference League Round of 16 trip to Panathinaikos.

It kicks off in Athens at 17.45 GMT.

The second leg will be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi next Thursday.

The Viola had been on a dismal run of three consecutive Serie A defeats until seeing off Lecce 1-0 on Friday evening.

Kean has been out of action since suffering head trauma during an accidental collision it the defeat to Verona, but was given the all-clear by medics and returns to the starting XI.

He is supported by Beltran in a 3-5-2 formation, with January signing Nicolò Fagioli in midfield.

Coach Raffaele Palladino makes the trip without injured Yacine Adli, Michael Folorunsho and Andrea Colpani.

David De Gea is also rested ahead of the Serie A meeting with Napoli, so Pietro Terracciano takes the gloves.

Fiorentina finished in the top eight of the league phase and therefore qualified directly for the Round of 16, whereas Panathinaikos needed a 3-2 aggregate play-off victory against Vikingur.

There are some very familiar faces in their squad, above all former Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski and ex-Sampdoria, Benevento and Sassuolo striker Filip Djuricic.

Several players are not eligible for this competition, such as Ruben Perez, Bart Schenkeveld, Hordur Magnusson, Zeca, Dimitrios Limnios, Georgios Nikas and Georgios Karakasidis.

Tin Jedvaj, Tasos Bakasetas, Erik Palmer-Brown and Facundo Pellistri are out injured.
