Cagliari striker Roberto Piccoli feels Fiorentina star Moise Kean is the ‘best striker’ in Serie A: ‘He will play in very important competitions.’
Piccoli, 24, has scored seven goals in 27 Serie A appearances with Cagliari under Davide Nicola this season.
“Nicola is really helping me mature on many levels, in leading the attack alone to play well with the team
and also from a goal-scoring perspective. I am improving a lot,” the Cagliari striker told TLN TV.
Every Cagliari home game goes sold out and the fans’ support has been crucial for the Sardinians.
“The fans, for us, are a very important part because even in home games, they give us an extra boost,” said Piccoli.
“There have been matches where maybe we were even down by a goal, but with the fans, as soon as they get fired up, it seemed like we were moving twice as fast.”
Piccoli: ‘Kean the best Serie A striker’

Piccoli praised his compatriot Kean, the second-best scorer in Serie A this season.
“In my opinion, for now, the strongest striker in Serie A is Moise Kean, for all kinds of physical and technical characteristics: speed, physical power, he is something…
“He is really strong, truly a high-level player who, starting next year, will play in very important competitions.
“Italy need these talented players and they exist. There’s work to be done,” Piccoli continued.
“I’m focused on working hard here at Cagliari, which, in my opinion, is the most important thing because only through your work at the club level can you get to the national team. Spalletti is doing a great job with a young group,
and we’ve seen some good results too.”
