Roma striker Artem Dovbyk is reportedly struggling with illness and has therefore not been called up to the Ukraine squad to face Belgium in the Nations League on Thursday evening.
Why Dovbyk will not be involved in Ukraine-Belgium
Ukraine head coach Serhiy Rebrov confirmed during his pre-match press conference that the Giallorossi centre-forward had been struggling with a high fever, which meant that he had not trained in the build-up to the Belgium game, scheduled for 19.45 GMT on Thursday evening.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian FA confirmed that Dovbyk has not been included in the matchday squad to face Belgium in Spain on Thursday night.

Ukraine-Belgium will still feature a number of Serie A stars despite Dovbyk’s unavailability.

His Roma teammate Alexis Saelemaekers is vying for a spot in the Belgium team, while Genoa’s Koni De Winter, Atalanta’s Charles De Ketelaere and Napoli’s Romelu Lukaku are all in contention.
The Belgium side will be led by last season’s short-term Napoli head coach Rudi Garcia.
