Victor Osimhen is one of Juventus’ targets for next season, but while the striker is open to moving to Turin, the Bianconeri must negotiate with Napoli given that his €75m clause is only valid for foreign clubs.
La Gazzetta dello Sport provides the latest updates on Osimhen’s transfer situation as the striker is expected to return to Napoli after a one-year loan spell at Galatasaray.
It is no secret that the Nigeria international’s release clause has dropped to €75m for the summer of 2025, but according to the pink paper, this price is only valid for foreign clubs. This means that Italian sides like Juventus must negotiate a transfer fee with Napoli if they want to sign the 2022-23 Serie A top scorer.
Osimhen transfer: Juventus still hope despite Napoli clause and stance

As the clause suggests, the Partenopei are unwilling to sell the 26-year-old to a domestic rival, especially after seeing Osimhen score 26 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions with Galatasaray this season.
According to Gazzetta, Osimhen is open to joining Juventus in the summer. However, the Bianconeri will have to discuss a transfer fee with the Partenopei, and reaching an agreement would be particularly tricky, especially because the Azzurri will likely demand more than €75m.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli signed Osimhen at Napoli in 2020.
Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United have also been linked with signing the Nigerian forward in the summer.
Galatasaray Vice President Abdullah Kavukçu recently said Osimhen would provide important updates about his future next month.
