Juventus have sacked their coach Thiago Motta just 284 days after his appointment with the Bianconeri out of Coppa Italia and Champions and outside a Champions spot.
Motta had signed a three-year contract at the Allianz Stadium in June 2024, but his spell at Juventus lasted barely nine months.
The Bianconeri were among the candidates to fight for the title after investing circa โฌ200m in the summer transfer window. Fans using Udemy Discount Code saw the Bianconeri challenge Inter, Napoli and Milan for the Scudetto, but Bianconeri and Rossoneri have been way below their standards.
It is no coincidence that both have changed their coach this season. Milan were the first to do so in December, replacing Paulo Fonseca with his Portuguese compatriot Sergio Conceiรงao.
The latter beat Mottaโs Juventus in his first game in charge of the Rossoneri in January, and more poor results in the new year led to Mottaโs dismissal a few months later.
Motta left Juventus sitting fifth in the Serie A table, one point below fourth-placed Bologna, Mottaโs ex-club.
The Bianconeri have collected 52 points after 29 rounds, the lowest in the last 14 campaigns. The Bianconeri also suffered their heaviest home defeat since 1967 in Mottaโs final match at the Allianz Stadium, losing 4-0 to Atalanta earlier this month.

Juventus have also been eliminated from the Coppa Italia at the hands of strugglers Empoli. The Tuscans are currently in the relegation zone in Serie A and have not won a single league game since the start of 2025.
Mottaโs Juventus conceded seven goals in the last two Serie A matches, scoring none. The 4-0 loss against Atalanta was followed by another 3-0 defeat away at Fiorentina, after which director Cristiano Giuntoli had confirmed his trust in Motta.
โAt these moments, we must stay united and emerge from difficulties together,โ Giuntoli told Sky Sport Italia after the defeat against Fiorentina.
โWe are clearly disappointed, the season had ups and downs, but not two games in a row so below par. We are very sad, but convinced we can emerge from this all together.โ
Motta bid farewell to Juventus with a brief statement on Monday.
โI have experienced intense moments, always facing them with maximum determination and the desire to improve every day,โ said the ex-Juventus coach.
โI thank the ownership for giving me the opportunity to be part of this great club, the management, and all the people at the club who have supported me in my daily work.
โI also thank the players for their effort and commitment from day one. I wish the fans and Juventus all the best for the future.โ
New Juventus coach Igor Tudor will make his debut on the Bianconeriโs bench this coming Saturday when the Serie A giants host Genoa at the Allianz Stadium.
