Reports in Italy claim Milan could surprisingly drop Fabio Paratici and look for a new sporting director due to โlegal matters.โ
The Rossoneri CEO Giorgio Furlani had reached an agreement with Paratici to become the new Rossoneri sporting director in 2025-26, but the latest updates from Italy suggest the deal is on the verge of collapsing.
Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Luca Bianchin wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that โlegal obstacles are too highโ so the Serie A giants will likely pick a different candidate for the job.

Sportitaliaโs Francesco Letizia also reports that the deal between Paratici and Milan is on the verge of collapsing.
Paratici is serving a 30-month ban for artificially inflating capital gains during his final years at Juventus. The ban ends on July 20, meaning Paratici could not complete transfers for the Rossoneri or any other club until that date.
Igli Tare and Tony DโAmico had previously been linked with the Milan sporting director role.
The Rossoneri are expected to hire a new director with deep knowledge of Serie A and Italian football, meaning that Tare and DโAmico are favourites over Kim Falkenberg,ย Thiago Scuro, and Markus Krรถsche of Eintracht Frankfurt.
