According to Italian newspaper Repubblica, Al Hilal and Al Ayn, two clubs participating in the Club World Cup, will pay Victor Osimhen’s release clause in the summer.
The Nigeria international has a €75m clause included in his contract with Napoli. This fee can only be paid by clubs outside Serie A.
Several European clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, have been linked with the Nigerian forward, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
However, according to Repubblica (via TMW), two other clubs will match the striker’s clause in June, before the beginning of the Club World Cup.
Two clubs tipped to pay Osimhen clause before Man United

The clubs mentioned are Al Hilal and Al Ayn, who will be involved in the summer competition.
It remains to be seen whether Osimhen will accept leaving Europe in 2025-26 or wait for a suitable offer from a club on the Old Continent.
Several sources have reported that Manchester United are already in talks with Osimhen’s agent. Juventus are also interested in the Napoli-owned striker, but will need to pay more than €75m as his clause is not valid for Serie A clubs.
Teams involved in the Club World Cup will have an extra transfer window available at the beginning of June, so that’s when the two sides interested in Osimhen can potentially beat Manchester United.
What Osimhen said about his move to Galatasaray
“I had plans to stay there and wait for three or four months and leave in January, but I think for me it was fair also to stay there because I wouldn’t let anyone decide for me,” the striker said in October, one month after joining Galatasaray on loan.
“It was important for me to stay there since I didn’t get the deserved move that I really preferred.
“When I received the call from the Galatasaray coach, it was really convincing. He said what he wanted to do this season and what he wanted to achieve. I could see what he had set for himself as a man, a coach, and a father. I think I fit in this plan and coming to a team with already a lot of quality players with great ambition, as a footballer, it was easy to come.”
