Football Italia brings you the top five transfer stories of the day, from Inter preparing an offer for Joshua Zirkzee to Atletico Madrid tracking Juventusโ€™ forward Vlahovic.

The summer transfer window is just around the corner and clubs participating in the Club World Cup will even have an extra transfer window available at the start of June.

This offers a perfect link with one of the best transfer stories of the day, which concerns Milan star Tijjani Reijnders.

The Dutch midfielder has attracted interest from Manchester City, and according to Calciomercato.com, Pep Guardiolaโ€™s side is so keen on the Milan star that theyโ€™d be ready to send an offer in the next few weeks to secure his signature before the tournament begins in mid-June.

Zirkzee

The other Milan-based team, Inter, is busy with the end of the season in Serie A and the imminent Champions Final. According to Corriere dello Sport, however, the Nerazzurri are also preparing an opening offer for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee. The opening bid is believed to be on loan with an option to buy for โ‚ฌ35m.

Vlahovic

According to Gazzetta, Juventus star Vlahovic has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and, as widely known, the Old Lady would not be against his sale as the striker has refused to extend his contract beyond 2026.

Ferguson

The agent of Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson has spoken about his clientโ€™s future with TMW: โ€œLewis has a long-term contract and would be happy to stay until the end of it,โ€ the playerโ€™s agent, Bill McMurdo, told TMW.

โ€œWe believe Bologna would be happy for him to see out his contract. However, if the club were to receive an offer they consider satisfactory, Lewis would have to consider any potential interest, but only at that point.โ€

Ndoye

Another Bologna star, Dan Ndoye, has already received calls from many European clubs, according to his agent, who described the Swiss winger as โ€œreadyโ€ for the โ€œnext step.โ€ Speaking to TMW, Ndoyeโ€™s agent said: โ€œWe must make assessments alongside the club, so itโ€™s too early to say what will happen. There are requests and surely heโ€™s ready for the next step. But he has already made history with Bologna, so we canโ€™t rule out that heโ€™ll do it again, right?โ€
