TS: Man United to rival Juventus for 40m Serie A winger

According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus and Manchester United are closely following Bologna star Dan Ndoye, but the Rossoblu’s asking price will be around €40m this summer.

Bologna winger Ndoye has attracted interest from several clubs around Europe, including Juventus and Manchester United.

Tuttosport newspaper reports that both sides have been following the Swiss winger for weeks and will likely compete for his signature this summer.

What makes the Juventus option particularly intriguing is that Antonio Conte’s Napoli made a €25m bid to sign Ndoye in the January window, and the Italian tactician has now been linked with a return to Turin.

Ndoye joined Bologna from Basel for just €9m plus €2m add-ons in 2023. His current deal at the Stadio Dall’Ara runs out in June 2027, but the fresh Coppa Italia winners have an option to extend it to 2028.

Ndoye earns €1.2m at Bologna, and talks over a new deal with his entourage are currently on hold.

According to the report, Bologna’s asking price for Ndoye, scorer of the winner in the Coppa Italia Final against Milan last week, will be €40m.

What Ndoye agent said about summer transfer

The winger’s agent, Fahd Adamson Mansoor, spoke about his client’s future last week, confirming interest from top European sides.

“He attracted interest from half of Europe at the Euros, but winning the Coppa Italia thanks to his goal is something unforgettable,” he said.

“It was moving to see him this happy. He was so delighted that he almost didn’t remember who he had scored.

“Many clubs want him, and I can’t deny that we receive requests from Europe every day. Bologna sold some of their best players last summer and we’ll see what they want to do now.

“We must make assessments alongside the club, so it’s too early to say what will happen. There are requests and surely he’s ready for the next step. But he has already made history with Bologna, so we can’t rule out that he’ll do it again, right?”
