According to DAZN, Napoli will not agree a new contract with Alex Meret, so the goalkeeper can walk away as a free agent, with interest from Arsenal.
The 28-year-old wore the gloves for both their Serie A title victories in 2023 and 2025, playing an integral part in the march towards the Scudetto.
However, his contract was allowed to run down and is set to expire on June 30.
Meret will not continue at Napoli

Negotiations have dragged on and DAZN transfer expert Orazio Accomando claims this evening that the decision has been made to simply part company.
This is not the version given by transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, who insists they are still on track for a new deal.
He had been purchased from hometown club Udinese in 2018 for a total of โฌ26m, playing 212 competitive games for the Partenopei.

Meret has three senior caps for Italy and is now free to join his next club, which might not necessarily be within Serie A, as Arsenal and other Premier League outfits have been linked.
Napoli need to find a new goalkeeper too, although they still own Elia Caprile, who impressed on loan at Cagliari this season.
They have meanwhile officially announced that the option to extend the Juan Jesus contract was activated, so the defender will remain until June 2026.
