Al-Hilal have recognised after one last attempt that Theo Hernandez will not join them, so are closing the deal with Roma for Angelino at €23m plus bonuses.
The Saudi Pro League side has been getting knocked back repeatedly over the last few days, including by Napoli-owned striker Victor Osimhen.

Now Milan left-back Theo Hernandez has made it absolutely clear he will not move to Simone Inzaghi’s club even for a huge salary, so they have been forced to go to Plan B.
That was already in place after we exclusively confirmed Roma accepted the €23m plus bonuses proposal for Angelino, with the player also agreeing personal terms.
Angelino done deal for Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal

Now that one final attempt to convince Theo Hernandez has been futile, Al-Hilal are pushing through for the transfer.
Angelino will head to Paris for the medical tests and to sign the contract, report Sportitalia and Footmercato, so he can be ready for the Club World Cup.
This move was also helped by the fact new Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini is seeking a player in that role with different characteristics.

The 28-year-old Spaniard was purchased from RB Leipzig in 2024 after a six-month loan, at a total cost of €5.4m.
Angelino contributed four goals and six assists in 51 competitive games for Roma this season.
