Napoli and Milan have been linked with Federico Chiesa this summer, and both Serie A clubs already have clear plans regarding their attacking department.
Chiesa’s future will be a big talking point this summer as the Italy international aims to leave Liverpool to get more playing time.
Napoli and Milan are among the clubs interested which, however, doesn’t mean they’ll get a deal done soon.
Milan strategy in attack

Rossoneri director Igli Tare has stated that the Diavoli will sign a new centre-forward this summer, but a new winger will arrive only if another player in the same position leaves.
Chiesa has already played as a central striker, but Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri prefers a natural centre-forward in that position, such as Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.
Napoli, on the other hand, want to sign two attacking wingers this summer and Antonio Conte is a long-time admirer of the ex-Juventus star.

Football Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà has already reported that Chiesa has received offers from foreign leagues, but a return to Serie A appears to be a priority.
In his latest transfer column for Caught Offside, Pedullà confirmed that Napoli were close to signing Noa Lang from PSV, with Bologna’s Dan Ndoye still a top name on the Partenopei’s agenda.

Napoli have gathered information about Chiesa through his agent, Fali Ramadani, Sky Sport Italia reported last week, but the defending Serie A champions are not yet in formal talks with Liverpool.
