Como are still waiting for Milan’s Malick Thiaw to make a decision, but in the meanwhile are also progressing towards Celta Vigo defender Carl Starfelt.
The two transfers are not connected, so the Lariani are trying to bring both players in regardless of whether Thiaw accepts the move or not.
That is still up in the air, with coach Cesc Fabregas trying to convince the German to make this switch in a double deal with his Milan teammate Alvaro Morata, currently on loan at Galatasaray, worth a total €40m.

Meanwhile, Como are also pushing for Celta Vigo defender Starfelt and hope to get that agreement over the line within days.
The Spanish side has put a price-tag on him of €10-11m plus bonuses, so negotiations continue to reach common ground.
The Sweden international just celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this month, but he is currently recovering from a muscular tear sustained in April.
The former Celtic defender joined Celta Vigo in 2023 for €5m.
