Tuesday’s reports claim that Atletico Madrid are in ‘constant contact’ with Napoli in an attempt to close a deal for Italy international Giacomo Raspadori.

Reports last week confirmed that Raspadori was on the shortlist of potential attacking additions for Diego Simeone’s side this summer, along with Enzo Millot and Juventus’s Nico Gonzalez

The aforementioned Millot has since moved from VfB Stuttgart to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, which leaves Raspadori as an increasingly possible option for Atleti this window.

According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Colchoneros are in ‘constant contact’ with Napoli in an attempt to close a deal.

Recent reports claim that the Partenopei value the 25-year-old in the region of €35m. Antonio Conte’s side are in no particular rush to sell, nor do they have any urgent need to do so.

Reports on Monday claimed that Raspadori’s agents have recently travelled to Spain to discuss the move with Atleti representatives.

Curiously, Raspadori is under the same management as fellow Italy international Matteo Ruggeri, who left Atalanta to join Atletico Madrid earlier this transfer window
