Napoli are reportedly back in negotiations for Marco Brescianini, who had already been on the verge of joining them last year, with up to €15m offered to Atalanta.
The 25-year-old had been all set to join the Partenopei last summer from Frosinone, even undergoing a medical, only for Atalanta to swoop in with a better proposal at the last minute.
They secured him on loan for €2m with an obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €12m.
Brescianini still on Napoli wish list

He struggled for playing time, but still contributed six goals and two assists in 38 competitive games for La Divinità .
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the interest in Brescianini has not waned and Napoli could come back in for the versatile attacking midfielder.
They would be prepared to invest up to €15m, most likely another loan with option to buy at the end of the season, but it remains to be seen if Atalanta are ready to sell.
He picked up two senior caps for Italy and can play in a variety of midfield roles.
