Kevin De Bruyne scored his first Serie A goal on his debut, beating Stefano Turati with a cheeky free kick.
De Bruyne doubled Napoliโs lead against Sassuolo in the second half of the 2025-26 Serie A opener at the Mapei Stadium on Saturday.
The ex-Manchester City star, who had become the oldest outfield player to make his Napoli debut in the three-point era, beat the Sassuolo keeper with a cheeky free-kick from the left.
Scotland international Scott McTominay had broken the deadlock in the first half with a towering header from a Matteo Politano cross.
