Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has officially joined Dinamo Zagreb on loan with an option to buy.
Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb have confirmed Bennacer’s loan move from Milan on their social media.
“We are delighted to announce that Algerian international and Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer will be joining GNK Dinamo,” the club said.

“Dinamo and Milan have reached an agreement on a one-year loan with an option to buy. Bennacer is arriving in Zagreb, where he will undergo medical examinations before officially signing his contract.
“Bennacer is an established midfielder with vast experience in one of the strongest leagues in the world. Wearing the Milan shirt, he made 137 Serie A appearances and European competitions, and at the end of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, he was named the tournament’s best player before making the move from Empoli to Milan.
Dinamo Zagreb welcome Bennacer
“With Milan, he won the Serie A title in 2021-22 and reached the Champions semi-finals afetr his crucial goal helped the Rossoneri eliminate Napoli in the quarter-finals.
“During his loan spell at Marseille, he played half a season and was one of the standout performers in the French league.
“His arrival represents a major reinforcement for our club and an important step in strengthening the team for the challenges ahead. Welcome Ismael.”
