Inter captain Lautaro Martinez scored as a substitute for Argentina in a 3-0 win over Venezuela last night, overtaking Diego Armando Maradona and becoming the fifth-top goalscorer with the national team.

The Nerazzurri captain found the net with a diving header, netting his 33rd international goal and overtaking Argentina and Napoli legend Maradona, who had scored 32.
As Inter proudly noted on their website, only Lionel Messi (114 goals), Gabriel Omar Batistuta (55), Sergio Agüero (41) and Hernan Crespo (35) have scored more goals for Argentina than Lautaro.
