Luca Marchegiani believes Andrea Cambiaso is ā€˜the only player’ Juventus should not sell in January, although a huge Manchester City bid would be difficult to reject.

The Italy international has emerged as a top transfer target for Manchester City and Juventus have reportedly set an €80m price tag on the versatile full-back.

The Premier League giants haven’t yet made an official offer for the Italian defender.

ā€œI am the first to say that every player has a price, so any huge bid should not be rejected,ā€ Marchegiani told Sky Sport Italia.

ā€œHowever, Cambiaso is the only player Juventus should not sell right now. He’s Italian, promising, versatile, and suits Thiago Motta’s playing style better than the others. He would be a considerable loss.ā€

Paolo Di Canio agreed with the former Lazio keeper but argued that an €80m offer would be impossible to reject for Juventus.

ā€œIf they really offer €80m, you can fix some things and sign players who can develop under this new coach,ā€ said the ex-striker.

ā€œObviously, the Juventus environment is demanding, and you need quick results.ā€

The Sky Sport Italia pundit also spoke about Alejandro Garnacho and Kyle Walker’s possible move to Serie A this month, saying that the Manchester United winger would not be an immediate starter under Antonio Conte at Napoli.

Juventus and Napoli meet at the Stadio Maradona in a crucial Serie A game on Saturday. Before the next Serie A game, Juventus will play away at Club Brugge in the Coppa Campioni Round 7 on Tuesday.
