Napoli hit the Parma woodwork twice and saw a stoppage-time penalty revoked via VAR, but are still one point clear at the top of the table because Inter were held 2-2 by Lazio.
The Partenopei saw their lead at the top of the table cut to just one point by the 2-2 draw with Genoa, where Stanislav Lobotka also aggravated his ankle injury. Alessandro Buongiorno and Juan Jesus were still out of action, with David Neres only fit for the bench, but Scott McTominay shrugged off a muscular issue to start. Parma had one point from three rounds, leaving them just above the drop zone. Lautaro Valenti was suspended, with Alessandro Vogliacco, Matteo Cancellieri, Valentin Mihaila, Gabriel Charpentier and Mateusz Kowalski injured.

Matteo Politano tested Zion Suzuki in the opening stages, then had penalty appeals, but his cross was charged down by Delpratoโs arm when sliding and it was under him, so could not realistically have been called intentional or in an unnatural position.
Alex Meret had to fingertip a Simon Sohm scorcher over the bar, but Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa thought he had scored with a sensational chest and flick over the defender, to then volley on the turn, only to see Suzuki fingertip the finish onto the inside of the far post.
Napoli went into the break hearing that Inter had taken the lead against Lazio, which put the Nerazzurri top of the table.
After the restart, they nearly went behind here too, as Sohm again unleashed a scorcher from distance that forced a one-handed acrobatic Meret save, while Giacomo Raspadori tested Suzuki from a tight angle.
Napoli hit the woodwork for a second time, as the Politano wayward cross turned into a shot that bounced off the top of the crossbar.
Giovanni Leoni limped off with a muscular issue, but the Partenopei were unlucky again to see the McTominay free kick fingertipped onto the frame of the goal by Suzuki.
The news filtered through at the 90th minute that Lazio had equalised with Inter and restored Napoliโs status as leaders, but the tension got to Antonio Conte, who was sent off for going head to head with Parma coach Cristian Chivu.
Deep into stoppages, David Neres cut inside and ran into Mathias Lovik, with the referee pointing to the spot. However, the spot-kick was revoked following a VAR On-Field Review for the earlier Giovanni Simeone foul on Alessandro Circati.
It all goes down to the final round, but Antonio Conte will sit out a touchline ban.
