Serie A Title Race: Can Inter Defy the Odds?

Inter have plenty of work to do if they are to win their 21st Scudetto, with the odds seemingly stacked against them.

Although the Nerazzurri were handed a glimmer of hope after Napoli’s surprise draw to Genoa two weeks ago, they remained a point behind the league leaders after round 37, collecting a home draw against Lazio. The odds aren’t necessarily in their favour, especially when comparing who they have to face in the remaining Serie A fixture.

Simone Inzaghi’s side will be doing everything that they can to retain their Serie A title and become Scudetto champions for the 21st time in club history. As we know, football has a habit of producing the miraculous and the unexpected.

As long as they win their two remaining games, that’s all they can do to put pressure on a team that finished 10th last season. Both teams will play their remaining fixtures at the same time on the same day.
