Cagliari defender Gabriele Zappa says the Rossoblu will ‘give their best’ against Napoli on Friday and promises Inter: ‘We’ll sweat for the shirt.’
Cagliari secured survival with a game to spare last week and will visit Napoli at the Stadio Maradona on Friday night.
It’s the last game of the season, which will give the Partenopei or Inter the 2024-25 Scudetto.
Napoli are the current table leaders with a one-point lead over the Nerazzurri.

“We are happy. We were in a very good position, but a few slip-ups made things a bit more complicated. However, in the last match we showed what we are made of,” Zappa said on Wednesday during an event in Cagliari via TMW.
“We still have a couple of days to prepare for the last game. It’s always a great match,” the defender continued.
“Obviously, there will be a lot of people and we’ll try to give our best to put in a good performance. We’ve set ourselves the goal of keeping 14th place. We’ll give our all. It will be a great match to play. We are fired up for this challenge.
“I promise we’ll give our all,” he concluded.
“The result will be a consequence. We’ll give everything and sweat for the shirt. I can promise.”
