Evan Ferguson playing for Roma (asroma.com)
Roma will not stand against Artem Dovbyk’s sale this summer, especially after an impressive pre-season from Evan Ferguson with the Brighton loanee tipped to start against Bologna over the fine settimana.
Roma are waiting for offers for Dovbyk, who has only started his second season at the Stadio Olimpico.
Impressive Ferguson stats in Roma pre-season

Sky Sport Italia confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the Ukraine international has dropped down the pecking order under Gian Piero Gasperini after playing 305 minutes and scoring just one goal in the pre-season.
The former La Liga top goal-scorer started three summer friendlies, while Ferguson featured in the starting XI four times after his move from Brighton, scoring five goals in 281 minutes of football.
Sky Sport’s correspondent from Trigoria, Angelo Mangiante, said that Gasperini is particularly happy with how Ferguson is involved in the build-up play, contrary to Dovbyk.
Roma open to selling Dovbyk

The Ukraine international had the same issue last season, when, however, he still scored 17 goals across all competitions.
Dovbyk also scored just one goal, from the spot against Bologna, in games against Roma’s direct opponents in 2024-25.
Roma would not stand against Dovbyk’s sale this summer, and according to Matteo Moretto, the ex-Giorona star has received an offer from Napoli.
If Dovbyk were to leave the Olimpico in the coming weeks, the Giallorossi would try to sign a new centre-forward.
In the meantime, Ferguson seems favourite to start in the first Serie A game of the season against Bologna on August 23.
