Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is currently the most valuable Italian player in Serie A according to the latest figures, closely followed by teammate Nicolo Barella, who are both some way ahead of the next closest players in Federico Dimarco and Moise Kean.

Inter have four representatives in this hypothetical team, including the aforementioned Bastoni, Barella and Dimarco, plus youngster Francesco Pio Esposito, who looks set to play an increased role with the first team this season.
Atalanta also have three representatives on the list, including goalkeeper Marco Carnsesecchi, wing-back Raoul Bellanova and centre-back Giorgio Scalvini.
