Sam Beukema remains determined to do everything he can to join Napoli and that means pressuring Bologna to lower their asking price to €30m plus add-ons.
The defender has made it perfectly clear he considers this a huge opportunity that he does not want to let slip through his fingers.
The problem remains that Bologna have set a very high asking price on his head, but they are coming under pressure from all sides now.
Beukema only wants Napoli
As expected after the player’s father met with Napoli last week, the pressing is intensifying with Beukema asking for this dream to be allowed to come true.
Napoli have set aside a figure of circa €30m plus add-ons, which they believe would be a fair price for the 26-year-old Netherlands international.
The two clubs are also meeting regularly to discuss another player, Dan Ndoye, who is in a similar situation when it comes to his asking price.
