Milan in crisis bring Christian Pulisic back to start with Santiago Gimenez and Rafael Leao against Lazio’s Mattia Zaccagni and Matteo Guendouzi.

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 GMT.

This has been a disastrous couple of weeks for the Rossoneri, who crashed out of the Coppa Campioni to Feyenoord, then lost back-to-back Serie A matches against Torino and Bologna.

Thursday’s rescheduled Week 9 fixture left them floundering in eighth place and with coach Sergio Conceicao reacting angrily to criticism.

Fans have announced a silent protest to begin tonight’s game, but there is at least some good news in the return of Pulisic to the starting XI, but not yet Kyle Walker.

Joao Felix is dropped to the bench instead, with Tijjani Reijnders in the more advanced role, Rafael Leao and Santiago Gimenez upfront.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Emerson Royal and Alessandro Florenzi are still out of action.

Lazio dropped to fifth place after two consecutive stalemates against Napoli and Venezia.

The absence of injured centre-forward Taty Castellanos is taking its toll, joined on the treatment table by Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Elseid Hysaj.

Former Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli and midfielder Matias Vecino are only fit for a spot on the bench.

The Aquile were in action on Tuesday in a 2-0 Coppa Italia quarter-final defeat to Inter, which was also at San Siro.

Marco Baroni has some squad rotation ahead of Thursday’s Europa League Round of 16 tie against Viktoria Plzen.

Loum Tchaouna gets the nod rather than Tijjani Noslin upfront, with Gustav Isaksen preferred to Pedro.
