Fabrizio Romano claims that Napoli saw their improved €17m offer for Juanlu Sanchez turned down by Sevilla, who want €20m plus a 20 per cent cut of the future sale, which Wolves would pay.
There had been suggestions on Wednesday that the Partenopei raised their proposal to match the one submitted by Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Juanlu demands keep shifting in bidding war

However, now Romano and Matteo Moretto report that this is not what the Premier League side was offering, so Sevilla have rejected it.
They insist the asking price is €20m including add-ons, plus a 20 per cent cut of the sell-on fee, which are unlikely to be matched by Napoli.
The Serie A club generally dislike sell-on agreements, especially one as high as 20 per cent.
Right-back Juanlu turns 22 later this month and only recently signed a new contract with Sevilla that runs to June 2029.
He is a product of the Sevilla youth academy and already has 59 LaLiga appearances under his belt.
